Most hotels will be able to organise this for you. You will spend the morning in an animal park, and then some time in the water with the dolphins. It's an incredible experience, and one that I highly recommend.

I reached Cayo Blanco on a day trip from my hotel in Varadero, and on the same trip as swimming with dolphins. It's a boat ride from the mainland, where they will ply you with rum, play games, and you can enjoy the water and the scenery.

If you are visiting this island as part of a tour, your afternoon will be filled with music, lunch, rum, and lounging around on the beach. The island is beautiful, and the beaches feel a lot less crowded than those at the popular resorts.
