Qinghai
Located not too far from the Tibet region, Qinghai is a city of ethnic diversity, making it a fascinating place to visit. This diversity leads to a number of interesting temples to visit. The city is named after Qinghai Lake (blue/green lake), the largest lake in China.

Qinghai Lake is the largest inland and salt water lake in China, and is definitely worth visiting for a day. The array of museums, shops, and points of interest around the lake will keep you entertained, and the views of the lake are quite beautiful.

Me at Qinghai Lake
Qinghai Lake is over a huge area, but don't worry if you aren't up to all the walking. There is a buggy / bus service that will happily take you from bus stop to bus stop.
