Tivoli Gardens (or simply Tivoli) is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen, which has been there since 1843. It's a beautiful old complex to walk around, with good rides, amazing gardens, and at Christmas an incredible Christmas market.

The Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen is one of the most famous things to see in Denmark. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, and best of all for tourists it's free to go and see.

Carlsberg is one of Denmark's most famous exports, so if you like lager then the brewery tour is a great way to spend a few hours (and drink some beer - 2 drinks were included with a ticket when I visited).
