Vancouver
On Canada's west coast in British Colombia, Vancouver is often listed as one of the best places in the world to live. With it's beautiful city, harbour, mountains and easy-going way of life, it's very easy to see why.

Vancouver Lookout Tower
Vancouver Lookout Tower
One of the best ways to see the beautiful landscape of Vancouver is by going up the Vancouver Lookout Tower. It's not that expensive to go up, and the the tower offers a 360 view of the city.
It isn't as tall as most other city towers, but it's definitely tall enough to give you a great view.

Prospect Point
Me at Prospect Point
Prospect Point is a stop on the "hop-on, hop-off" bus tour (which is really worth taking as a great way to see the city if you don't have much time) and it offers you great views of the bay from a viewpoint you probably won't get from your city centre hotel.

Grouse Mountain
Cable car to the top of Grouse Mountain
One of the highlights of Vancouver is easily Grouse Mountain. During the winter it offers great winter sports, and during the summer it offers great hiking. At both times of the year it offers a wonderful view of Vancouver, and British Colombia.
Taking the cable car to the top of Grouse Mountain
To get to the top of Grouse Mountain you can take the cable car, hike or run (a route known as The Grind). Which one you take depends on your fitness, the weather, and how much time you have.

At the top you will find shops, cafes, hiking trails, shows, wildlife (they have bears in captivity at the top), and amazing views.
